Jens Hookanson was born on St. Croix and grew up fishing, swimming, and sailing in the waters off St. Croix. He is a certified yacht captain and world-class sailor. His 30+ years of fishing experience brings him a wealth of local knowledge, like where to catch and best times to catch to put fish in the boat!
The boat is a Bluewater 2550 with twin Yamaha 150, 4-stroke engines that’s built for fishing. Equipped with a head, coolers, outriggers, and an array of top-of-the-line Shimano and Penn gear, it can accommodate a maximum of 6 people.
The boat is located on the Christiansted Boardwalk next to Caribbean Sea Adventures and directly in front of the King Christian Hotel. Pickups are offered at The Buccaneer pier (guests only) and at the St. Croix Yacht Club (members and members guests only) at no additional charge. There’s also a pickup at the Frederiksted Cruise Ship Pier for those staying on the West End of the island. Conditions in Frederiksted offer great fishing and often calmer waters as you’re fishing on the leeward side of the island. However, due to a 45-minute commute each way to pick you up, we do charge an additional $150.00 fee.

The boat is USCG equipped and I am a Certified Captain. The business is fully licensed and insured. We want to make sure you enjoy your experience, safely and reliably.”
