Deer at Cinnamon Bay, St. John

White-tailed deer are some of lesser known residents of St. John!
Occasionally visitors to the Virgin Islands National Park may see small herds of these deer and it’s always an exciting photo opportunity for anyone visiting the National Park. The white-tailed deer were first brought to St. John in the the late 1700’s and again in 1937 as part of the Wildlife Restoration Act of 1937.
